Your Inner Child
We all had a childhood. With good and / or bad parents, brother, sisters, family members and friends. During your first five years you did experience things for the first time:
love and rejection, joy and pain, success and failure.
All these experiences did form your personality, your identity.
Is your glass of water half full or half empty?
Is the world around you a good or a dangerous place?
Your primary scenarios, your primal experiences are influencing you every day, as you are looking at the world around you, while wearing your special “primary-scenario-glasses”.
Start now to transform small and big traumas - with the help of your inner wisdom.
What is Inner Child Work?
Inner child work is the process of contacting, understanding, embracing and healing your inner child. Your inner child represents your first original self that entered into this world; it contains your capacity to experience wonder, joy, innocence, sensitivity, and playfulness.
Inner Child Work can be a vital component of a coaching session because it reconnects us with a wounded element of ourselves: the child within. When we reconnect with this fragmented part of ourselves, we can begin to discover the root of many of our fears, phobias, insecurities and sabotaging life patterns.
This is where the true healing happens!
Some examples of childhood trauma:
Being hit or smacked by your parents/grandparents
Having an emotionally unavailable parent who withholds affection
Being “punished” by kicking, shaking, biting, burning, hair pulling, pinching, scratching or “washing out the mouth” with soap
Being the child of divorce
Being given inappropriate or burdensome responsibilities (such as caring for your parents)
Not being fed or provided a safe place to live from your parents
Abandonment (your caretakers leaving you alone for long periods of time without a babysitter)
Emotional neglect, i.e. not being nurtured, encouraged or supported
Car accidents, or other spontaneous traumatic events
The most sophisticated people I know
- inside they are all children.
My Inner Child Work Approach
The "Onion Model" by Angelika Gulder
If it is your wish to work on developing your personality and to discover your primary scenarios, we will step into the past, peeling of one layer after the other, with a system called “The Onion Model of your Personality”, developed by my teacher Angelika Gulder, a graduated psychologist.
We are working with transforming limiting beliefs, giving your inner voice that is pushing and urging you some time to speak.
Finding some “red threads” in your biography can help as much as getting to know your soul's archetype.
Matrix Reimprinting is an evolved tapping technique, rooted in EFT, in which you connect with your inner child – called ECHO. It was developed by my teacher Karl Dawson, and I totally love to use this technique- for myself and for others.
”Matrix Reimprinting is joining the dots between the power of beliefs, the placebo effect, scientific evidence and how the mind and body store trauma. Beliefs touch everything in our lives, and at the center of how we act and react to any situation is our belief system, what we learned from early childhood experiences, our parents and our culture.
But the good news are: no matter what you believe, it’s possible to transform those beliefs with Matrix Reimprinting. It is simple to learn and intensely practical. And it’s worth a try: If you transform your belief system, you can transform your experience of reality.”

Elke's Inner Child
I was in a coaching session as a customer during my Holistic Coaching Training and it was a moment of awakening: certain issues in my life in the NOW really did lead back to a scenery with my father, having not enough time for the very young Elke…
This brought me a step deeper into my power and I could transform this blocking energy.
I truly wish all of you the same AHA -Moment!
